2015 JBI International Methodology Symposium - Abstract Submission Closes on 29th May 2015

Just a reminder that abstract submission closes on the 29th May for the inaugural 2015 Joanna Briggs Institute International Methodology Symposium  which will be held on the 3rd and 4th September in Adelaide, Australia.

The Symposium will focus on presenting and discussing the unique approaches developed by JBI and its Collaboration to evidence synthesis and implementation.

This symposium, aimed at the evidence-based healthcare enthusiast and methodologist, is a must for anyone interested in the varied approaches to conducting systematic reviews across the broad spectrum of methodologies, including but not limited to effectiveness, diagnosis, mixed-methods and qualitative review.

Attached to this email you will find an Invitation from JBI’s acting Executive Director, Assoc Prof Zoe Jordan, as well as a Draft Program and a Call for Abstracts for poster presentations or oral communications focused on evidence synthesis and evidence implementation using the JBI Methodology.

To register for the symposium and the pre-symposium workshops, submit an Abstract or for further details regarding key dates, speakers and accommodation options, please go to: http://2015symposium.joannabriggs.org/

Please note that due to the JBI International Methodology Symposium being an internally-focused event to the JBI, the JBC and affiliated stakeholders, there are strictly limited tickets available. We therefore encourage all interested persons to register promptly.

Registration closes on Friday 24 July 2015, however tickets may be sold out prior.

JBI has secured discounted rates for participants at The Crowne Plaza Adelaide and The Ibis Hotel Adelaide. For information on how to book please go to the symposium website. Rooms will be discounted for a strictly limited period, so please book early to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to seeing you in Adelaide in September this year as we continue to develop unique approaches to Methodology and meet with friends old and new from across the globe.
